Savita Jha

Savita, after attaining Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, she has been teaching History in University of Delhi for past 16years and working/ researching simultaneously in the areas of educational, gender, regional languages, epics, folk art, environmental and heritage protection issues for more than a decade. Currently she is in the governing body of Maithili- Bhojpuri Academy, Government of Delhi and teaching history and tourism management at College of Vocational Studies, University of Delhi. She has founded Madhubani literature festival, MaithiliMachaan, CSTS, MithilaStack etc to contribute to the community.
